中国工程物理研究院（简称九院或中物院）创建于1958年，是中国国家核心战略装备与核心技术综合研发、生产事业单位。

    中物院研究生教育始于1984年，30多年来为国家战略装备建设和高新技术装备研制等尖端科技领域培养了大批战略科技人才，为国家重大装备建设事业持续健康发展提供了坚强的人才支撑。为进一步加强基础研究和特色人才培养，2015年，中物院在原“研究生部”基础上成立了中国工程物理研究院研究生院，赋予研究生院新的定位：实施特色定制、有国家目标牵引的研究生教育；面向国家战略和学科前沿，开展完全开放的基础研究；通过科教融合，促进中物院骨干队伍科研能力的提升。基于新的定位，研究生院瞄准与国家重大需求相关的领域，拟大力发展理论物理、量子物理、计算材料学、表界面物理、核物理与核技术基础、可靠性工程、基础力学、应用数学等中物院核心战略装备急需的基础研究领域，形成需求牵引的完全开放的基础研究平台。

    中物院研究生院设置高能量密度物理、核物理技术、量子传感与信息感知、可靠性联合研究室等多个研究室；此外，还设置7个学科教研室。为建设一支具有国际水准的精干研究团队，中物院研究生院自2016年起面向海内外招聘青年拔尖人才，并以研究生院为依托单位申请国家各类人才计划。目前已初具规模，拥有全职科研人员13人，包括：中科院院士1人，杰青2人，青千9人。

    研究生院未来将成为高端学术成果和原始创新能力发源地、高层次杰出人才聚集地和国际知名学术交流中心，为我国和我院需求牵引下的基础研究发展贡献力量。现举办首届国际优秀青年学者论坛，竭诚欢迎海内外青年英才参加。

中物院研究生院论坛简介
    中物院研究生院2019年首届国际优秀青年学者论坛定于5月27日-31日在研究生院北京软件园校区召开。本论坛旨在为海内外优秀青年学者搭建一个学术交流平台。通过专题报告和学术研讨等形式，共同探讨国家核心战略技术发展相关基础研究领域国际科技前沿话题，追踪学术热点问题，开拓学术视野，启迪学术灵感，促进交流合作，引进海内外优秀青年人才。

    中物院研究生院创院伊始，注重人才政策创新，不唯“帽子”论，按需求引进人才，这些举措契合了当前国家反对“四唯”的人才政策的变革。研究生院从程序和制度层面上进行改进和完善，落实优秀人才在生活、科研方面的各项待遇。

    为了符合基础科学的研究规律，保障人才真正潜心科研，中物院研究生院不把短时间成果、头衔与人才待遇直接挂钩，而是创造“宽松、自由、规范、竞争，有序”科研气氛，鼓励长期积累、潜心研究，攻坚克难。

申请方式及日程安排
    邀请对象：
    1.学科领域：理论物理、量子物理、计算材料学（急需）、表界面物理（急需）、核物理与核技术基础（急需）、可靠性工程、基础力学、应用数学等基础理论研究方向为主；
    2.年龄一般应在40周岁以下，在相关领域取得一定成绩或具有良好发展潜力的海内外优秀青年人才；
    3.海外受邀者一般应具备：具有海外知名大学博士学位，或具有国内博士学位，并在海外知名高校、科研机构或者知名企业研发机构连续从事科研工作2年以上；
    4.国内受邀者一般应具备：接近或达到国家“四青”相应水平的优秀人才。

    交通食宿：
    受邀学者参加论坛期间食宿由研究生院统一安排，并提供往返研究生院的交通费用（符合国家财务政策http://zkzx.las.ac.cn/knowledgePush/emeb/acadTravel.htm，飞机经济舱、火车等实报实销）。

人才待遇

International Forum of Distinguished Young Scholars
China Academy of Engineering Physics (referred to as the Ninth Institute,CAEP) was founded in 1958.It is China's national core institute of strategic equipment R & D and production.

The graduate education of CAEP began in 1984, and has cultivated a large number of strategic scientific and technological professionals for the country in the past 30 years.In 2015, CAEP established "Graduate School of CAEP (GSCAEP)" in Beijing, on the basis of the original Graduate Department,and gave the new mission and orientation to the CAEP graduate education:

New mission: utilizing science and education cooperation to construct a distinctive, first-class graduate school.

New orientation: 
1.to implement characteristic and customized graduate education under the traction of national goals; 
2.to carry out a fully open basic research for the national strategy and discipline frontier; 
3.to promote the backbone of scientific research capacity of CAEP,through science and education integration.

GSCAEP set up a number of laboratories,such as high-energy density physics, nuclear physics,quantum sensing and information perception,and reliability joint research laboratories.In order to build a research team with international standards,GSCAEP is recruiting international talents.Currently it has 12 full-time research scientists,including 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,2 NSF distinguished young scholars, and 9 1000-youth plan scholars.
 
The First International Forum of distinguished Young Scholars in 2019 will be held from 27 to 31 May at GSCAEP,aiming to build a platform for outstanding young scholars to exchange ideas on cutting-edge research of  basic science and advanced technologies.The forum consists of the section of academic talks and  the section of free discussions. During the forum,participants also have the opportunity to interact with researchers at GSCAEP.  
 
The GSCAEP provides excellent  atmosphere of scientific research, competitive salaries and stable research funding supports.
 
Qualified applicants should satisfy   
1.Research area: Theoretical Physics, quantum physics,computational materials (urgently needed),surface and interface physics (urgently needed),nuclear physics and technology (urgently needed),reliability engineering,  mechanics and applied mathematics;
 
2. The age should be under 40 years old in general;
 
3. Applicants should have a PhD degree in the relevant fields and should have excellent academic records.
