就职于法国国际高等科学研究院的法国数学家度米尼尔-柯平(Hugo Duminil-Copin)，方向是概率论。
表彰其解决统计物理学中相变概率理论中长期存在的问题，尤其是在三维和四维方面。
Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for solving longstanding problems in the probabilistic theory of phase transitions in statistical physics, especially in dimensions three and four.



就职于普林斯顿大学的韩裔美国数学家许埈珥(June Huh)，方向是组合几何

表彰其将霍奇理论的思想引入组合学，证明几何格上的道林-威尔逊猜想，证明了拟阵的海伦-罗塔-威尔士猜想，发展了洛伦兹多项式理论以及证明了强梅森猜想。
Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for bringing the ideas of Hodge theory to combinatorics,the proof of the Dowling-Wilson conjecture for geometriclattices,the proof of the Heron-Rota-Welsh conjecture for matroids,the development of the theory of Lorentzian polynomials,and the proof of the strong Mason conjecture.



就职于牛津大学的英国数学家 梅纳德(James Maynard)，方向是数论

表彰其对解析数论的贡献，在理解素数结构和丢番图近似方面取得了重大进展。
Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for contriibutions to analytic numbertheory,which have led to major advances in the understanding of the structure of prime numbers and in Diophantine approximation.



就职于瑞士洛桑联邦理工学院的乌克兰数学家维娅佐夫斯卡(Maryna Viazovska)，方向是组合几何

表彰其证明E8格在8维中提供了相同球体的最密集堆积法，并对傅立叶分析中的相关极值问题和插值问题作出了进一步的贡献。
Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for the proof that the E8 lattice provides the densest packing of identical spheres in 8 dimensions, and further contributions to related extremal problems and interpolation problems in fourier analysis.



菲尔兹奖

菲尔兹奖（英语：Fields Medal），是依加拿大数学家约翰·查尔斯·菲尔兹（John Charles Fields）要求设立的国际性数学奖项，于1936年首次颁发。菲尔兹奖是数学领域的国际最高奖项之一。因诺贝尔奖未设置数学奖，故该奖被誉为“数学界的诺贝尔奖”。
菲尔兹奖每四年在国际数学家大会上颁发一次，表彰当下以及未来有可能取得杰出数学成就的40岁以下的数学家。
清华大学教授丘成桐于1982年成为首位菲尔兹奖华人得主，澳大利亚籍华裔陶哲轩于2006年获得菲尔兹奖。
