Responsibilities:
Personally manage the day-to-day operation of DMS and retail IT application operations, inline with Service Level Agreements and Operational process framework. Maintain all relevant IT sales processes and control a small team and suppliers in supporting retail level.
Ensure the delivery of business requirements in accordance with ITPM. Management of all factors which impact on cost, timing & quality (incl. IT Suppliers).
Work closely with the national and international sales organisation to establish IT business requirements. Maintain good working relationships with all business contacts.
Alignment and enhancement of processes and systems, taking all relevant internal and external factors that could affect both cost and benefit.
Liaise with external IT suppliers to ensure cost effective delivery of IT solutions (quality and time).
Liaise with all necessary internal / external resources to identify medium to long term IT opportunities.
Achievement on Customer Requirements for:
A. Operations and support;
B. Change Management and integration into Change Control Board;
C. Control and report on IT Project Implementation incl. DMS rollout handover;
D. Ensure effective support of the Service Level management process (definition and ongoing review in line with changing operational needs);
E. Adherence to customer High level Factory Targets, SLAs, and Project Targets;
F. Investigate and provide insight into relevant strategic (viable) IT opportunities for Wholesale office customers;
G. Team Project Management for IT delivery incl. Target Setting, Resource Planning & Quality Assurance.
User and colleague training
Driving and supporting the use of IT applications and infrastructure
Support IT Operation and Support Budgets for all wholesales systems relevant.
Qualifications:
University degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a business systems-related subject;
Minimum of three years experience in system development and management, using structured methods. In addition, two years experience in a retail / wholesale or manufacturing environment and at least two years practical experience with relevant IT systems.
Business knowledge of key business process streams such as: Retail Processes; Wholesale Processes; Customer Relationship Management; Finance and Controlling.
Technical Skills of Project management, business analysis, knowledge in Windows and UNIX; moderate knowledge in one of the database SQL Server or Oracle; Data / Process modelling, Application Testing, Coaching / Training.
Process skills of IT Systems Planning, Development and Maintenance including the following key processes:
A. System delivery using a recognised methodology
B. Application support and help desk processes
C. Adherence and development of all IT processes that ensure co-ordination and control
Fluent in English both oral & written.
Good communication skills.
